Next Friday June 19, 2015, ends the call to participate in the 8th edition of the "Women Solidarity Award" from Argentina, organized annually by the Avon Foundation. This award recognizes and supports the work of women who lead or actively participate in social projects.

It is aimed at women over 18 years living in the country, to lead social programs backed by an institution, school or vocational training center of governance and / or deprived of Argentina.

A renowned jury will select three candidates and suitability to gain the "Solidary Women Award" and mentions for its consideration. Organizations that have endorsed the winners will receive $ 50,000, intended exclusively for the implementation or continuation of a draft submitted by the winner.

Initiatives to help achieve one of the Millennium "Millennium Development Goals" promoted by the UN recognized: eradicate extreme poverty and hunger, achieving universal primary education, promoting decent work, promote equality and gender equity, reduce child mortality, improve maternal health, combat diseases such as HIV / AIDS, tuberculosis and chagas among others and ensure a sustainable environment.
